As a PhD student at the Oláh György Oláh Doctoral School of BME, I am working on biocatalysis, enzymatic synthesis of chiral amine compounds. My research is supported by the Cooperative Doctoral Program in an industry-academia collaboration at the Servier Research Institute and the MTA-BME Biostruct Laboratory. My scientific career has been mainly in molecular biology and organic chemistry, which I have extended to bioinformatics and enzyme engineering. I am motivated by the direct use of my results in industry and the scientific community. I aim to bring together different disciplines in innovative ways to develop new and more efficient methods and solutions. I believe that collaboration between science and industry can bring significant breakthroughs in both biocatalysis and chemical biology.
